Nope, there is no dress code! Semi-formal wear is preferred, but not required.

What is parking like?
There is a parking lot across from the restaurant.

What kind of food and drinks will be served?
Each table will be served a cold dish, a soup, and 6-8 hot dishes. We have not yet decided on what the dishes will be so please let us know in advance if you have any allergies or food preferences.
Traditionally, each table should also have water, tea, and a bottle of wine available.

Uhm… I guess #hugothyadventures works haha!

What health and safety measures will you be taking during the event?
We expect all of our guests to be double vaccinated. Masks are optional.

Are you going to go on a honeymoon?
Our dream is to be able to celebrate our marriage with all our close friends and family around the world. Thus, our “honeymoon” is best described as small wedding celebrations in the US, Ecuador, Spain, Japan, and the Philippines.

If we are flying into the state, what airport is closest?
I recommend flying into BWI or IAD which are located in Baltimore and Washington D.C. respectively.

Where should we stay?
If you look at the map below, Baltimore, Frederick, and Washington D.C. form sort of a triangle. I recommend staying somewhere in this triangle and renting a car. It’s also important to note that there is a metro that goes directly between Washington D.C central area and the restaurant where the party will be!

I don’t have any particular hotel to recommend. But, my house does have three available rooms- so if you’re interested in staying with me, please let me know in advance!

What is there to do locally?
Not much, to be honest! But you should definitely visit Washington D.C. and Baltimore if you have never been in this region before. For more of a small town vibe, check out Old Ellicott City. There is also lots of hiking opportunities at national parks such as the Patapsco Valley State Park. If you’re willing to travel a bit, there are also several amusement parks within an hour and a half drive.
